I’ve been twice as busy the last month, even after the family tragedy, in making games. The December update of Romancing the Kingdom was the biggest I had made, until the new January release of .45 for Patreon Supporters.
What’s the new stuff in .40?
First, clearly, there’s the new name. Then you’ll notice the new game & title screens, the credits (if you get to the end of the current release) and of course 60+ renders, new animation and more.
This is the biggest update I’ve ever done over a month (or in this case, 5 weeks). I think you’ll love the many bug fixes, improvements and new scenes. The latest version will also automatically, “end,” and then post-credits ask if you’d like to continue. That is setup to ensure that if you don’t want to play scenes that repeat, you can easily go back and play through to see different scenes in the existing ~14 days or so of game play. Updated, get the latest versions here in this post.
Are you following my project on patreon? If not, I wanted to share a quick, “Life update,” as two months ago I lost my full time job and I’m struggling financially. While I am applying for jobs, I’m also now working full time making games. Even $1 a month means a ton to me and helps motivate me to create even better work.
